Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of counseling teachers in special job market activities (BKK). This study uses qualitative methods. In this study using qualitative research, to analyze the data, this study uses data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the role of the counseling teacher in BKK activities is very much needed and is able to assist in providing information to providing assistance to students who will take part in the selection to enter the company. In addition, they are also able to identify and select students according to the needs and desires of companies through data collection activities, and can collaborate with partners to organize job canvassing, roadshows, recruitment and distribution of graduates. The conclusion of this research is that counseling teachers are able to play an active role in various BKK activities and are able to synergize in providing data, information on the world of work, to collaborating with partners in organizing activities oriented towards channeling alumni and graduates.
