Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the general picture of the ethics of the Guidance and Counseling profession. The research method used is method quantitative descriptive. The instrument used was the Guidance and Counseling professional ethics questionnaire. The research target is professional BK teachers (who have passed PPG-BK) in several schools in the Yogyakarta region. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis by presenting a description of the results of statistical data processing. The research results obtained regarding the professional ethical profile of guidance and counseling teachers tended to be 78.64% in the high category and 21.36% in the medium category. So it can be concluded that there are professional guidance and counseling teachers in several areas of Yogyakarta have good professional ethics.

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis gambaran umum etika profesi Bimbingan dan Konseling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket etika profesi Bimbingan dan Konseling. Sasaran penelitian adalah guru BK profesional (yang telah lulus PPG-BK) di beberapa sekolah di wilayah Yogyakarta. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menyajikan deskripsi hasil pengolahan data statistik. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh mengenai profil etika profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling cenderung 78,64% dalam kategori tinggi dan 21,36% dalam kategori sedang. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru bimbingan dan konseling profesional di beberapa daerah Yogyakarta mempunyai etika profesi yang baik.
