Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan guru dalam membentuk
karakter nasionalisme pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Genengsari 01 Kecamatan
Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo Tahun Pelajaran 2020.Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guruSD Negeri Genengsari 01.
Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan
dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peranan guru dalam
membentuk karakter nasionalisme pada siswa SD Negeri Genengsari 01 masih
kurang sempurna, hal ini terlihat guru hanya menerapkan 4 peranan saja dari 12
peranan guru di sekolah,sehingga kurangnya tindakan nyata dari guru kepada siswa
dalam membentuk perilaku dan sikap nasionalisme. Wujud nyata tersebut tampak
siswa kurang memahami bentuk sikap nasionalisme.
