Peningkatan Ketertarikan Belajar melalui Pelatihan Self-regulated Learning dan Regulasi Emosi
Abstract
Kemampuan self-regulated learning (SRL) dan regulasi emosi merupakan aspek penting yang mendukung keberhasilan belajar remaja, khususnya pada kelompok dengan keterbatasan sosial dan ekonomi. Remaja di Sekolah Alam Sopo Safari Pematangsiantar menghadapi berbagai tantangan belajar, seperti tekanan ekonomi keluarga, keterbatasan fasilitas belajar, dan minimnya dukungan emosional. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan regulasi emosi dan self-regulated learning dilakukan untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan pengelolaan emosi dan kemandirian belajar. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi yang mencakup pengenalan emosi, strategi regulasi emosi melalui breathing exercise dan afirmasi positif, penyusunan goal setting planner, serta cognitive restructuring. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner evaluasi dan Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta memberikan respons positif terhadap kegiatan. Sebagian besar peserta merasa kegiatan menyenangkan, materi mudah dipahami, serta fasilitator mampu menjelaskan materi dengan baik. Peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan mengelola emosi, motivasi belajar, pengaturan waktu belajar, dan kemandirian belajar. Selain itu, sebagian besar peserta cenderung menggunakan strategi cognitive reappraisal dalam meregulasi emosi. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan dinilai efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan regulasi emosi dan self-regulated learning peserta. Meskipun demikian, diperlukan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan agar manfaat pelatihan dapat dirasakan secara lebih merata oleh seluruh peserta.
