Tinjauan Pelaksanaan Retensi Rekam Medis Rawat Jalan di Puskesmas Kecamatan Kembangan

Puskesmas adalah fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang menyelenggarakan upaya kesehatan masyarakat dan upaya kesehatan perorangan tingkat pertama. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, puskesmas berwenang untuk melaksanakan pencatatan dan pelaporan kesehatan pasien dan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas dan ruang lingkup kesehatan jasa. Pencatatan dan pelaporan pasien dapat dilihat dari berkas rekam medis pasien. Rekam medis di fasilitas kesehatan non-rumah sakit harus disimpan sekurang-kurang selama dua tahun dari terakhir tanggal kunjungan berobat. Setelah batas waktu penyimpanan terlampaui, rekam medis dapat dimusnahkan. Puskesmas Kecamatan Kembangan, merupakan salah satu puskesmas yang berada di wilayah kembangan utara. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala rekam medis, sehingga saat ini Puskesmas Kecamatan Kembangan terjadi penumpukan rekam medis inaktif pada rak penyimpanan aktif.
