Abstract

Bertambahnya populasi dan pasien usia tua akan meningkatkan permintaan layanan kesehatan, sementara membutuhkan petugas kesehatan. Kekurangan petugas kesehatan profesional menyebabkan beban kerja dan mengakibatkan kelelahan. Kelelahan ini berefek tidak hanya terhadap layanan kesehatan tetapi juga ke kehidupan petugas kesehatan profesional. Kelelahan ini bisa diakibatkan karena kurangnya pemahaman di kalangan petugas kesehatan itu sendiri, keragaman dan faktor pribadi petugas serta tidak adanya dukungan dari organisasi kesehatan. Diperlukan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, manajemen beban kerja, edukasi dini dan intervensi organisasi. Artikel ini akan membahas secara singkat mengenai kelelahan pada tenaga kesehatan. Diharapkan para tenaga kesehatan dapat mengatasi masalah kesehatan ini ke depannya.
