PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS ARGUMENTASI SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA

Abstract

The research objective was to describe: (1) the learning plan writing skills contextual approach arguments with class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Matesih; (2) the implementation of learning writing skills of argument with contextual approach.                                                                         This research is a qualitative description. The subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Matesih Karanganyar Regency. Data was obtained through interviews and documents. Validation of data is done using triangulation of data. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis. The study concluded that: (1) the learning plan writing skills contextual approach arguments with class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Matesih namely syllabus and lesson plans; (2) the implementation of learning writing skills argumentation by applying the seven principles of contextual learning. The seven principles, namely (a) constructivism, (b) questioning, (c) inquiry, (d) modeling, (e) learning community, (f) reflection, (g) authentic assessment.
