Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Pelayanan Akupunktur pada Kasus Nyeri Muskuloskeletal di Kelompok Lansia Tegal Mulyo RT 03 RW 04 Kelurahan Mojosongo Kecamatan Jebres Kota Surakarta

Penyakit merupakan salah satu sinyal bagi tubuh dalam keadaan tidak normal. Salah satu penyakit yang banyak dialami oleh orang lanjut usia adalah nyeri, khususnyanya muskoloskeletal. Nyeri jenis ini banyak menyerang orang lanjut usia (lansia) dan salah satu akternatif pengobatannya adalah melalui akupunktur. Tim Abdimas dari jurusan Akupunktur Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta menemukan masalah pada lansia di Tegal Mulyo RT 3 RW4 Kelurahan Mojosongo Kecamatan Jebres Kota Surakarta yaitu banyaknya lansia yang mengalami gangguan muskuloskeletal dan berencana membantu dalam pengurangan tingkat kesakitan yang dialami masyarakat mitra tersebut. Titik akupunktur yang digunakan pada terapi di kegiatan Abdimas ini di antaranya Zusanli (ST.36), Hegu (LI 4), Neiguan (PC 6), dan Sanyinjiao (SP 6). Hasil Abdimas dapat dikatakan berhasil karena masyarakat mitra merasakan penurunan tingkat kesakitan muskuloskeletal setelah program Abdimas selesai.
