Abstrak
Siswa di MTs Hidayatul Insan mengalami kesulitan memahami bahasa Inggris lisan karena kegiatan mendengarkan sering dilakukan dengan metode konvensional yang hanya memberikan dukungan visual terbatas dan tidak secara aktif melibatkan siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, program pengabdian masyarakat diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan bahasa Inggris siswa melalui animasi digital dan berbagai metode pengajaran. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mendengarkan, motivasi, dan partisipasi siswa di kelas. Peserta dalam program ini adalah siswa di MTs Hidayatul Insan. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan media animasi digital ke dalam tiga metode pengajaran: permainan, dialog, dan bermain peran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, umpan balik siswa, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengevaluasi implementasi dan hasil program.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan animasi digital membuat materi mendengarkan lebih mudah dipahami dan lebih menarik bagi siswa. Aktivitas berbasis permainan meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi, aktivitas dialog membantu siswa memahami ekspresi dan pola kalimat, sementara bermain peran mendorong siswa untuk menggunakan bahasa dalam konteks yang bermakna. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang lebih besar, pemahaman yang lebih baik, dan keterlibatan yang lebih aktif sepanjang proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, program pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan dampak positif pada kemampuan mendengarkan bahasa Inggris siswa dan tingkat keterlibatan mereka dalam belajar. Integrasi animasi digital dengan berbagai metode pengajaran menawarkan pendekatan inovatif dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan di kelas Bahasa Inggris sebagai Bahasa Asing.
