It has been reported that the cockroach Blattella germanica is considered a potential mechanical vector for transmitting diseases to humans and has been proven to cause household allergies and entomophobia. The aim of this study is to compare various articles on control using plant materials that are effective in controlling the population of Blattella germanica cockroaches. The method involved obtaining articles from Google Scholar using the keyword "Blattella germanica cockroach control with bioinsecticides." The inclusion criteria for journals were that they must be accessible in full-text form, published within the last 10 years, indexed in ISSN or Scopus, and available for free access. Five selected journals were summarized, analyzed, and conclusions were drawn. The results found that all journals using different plants showed positive effects on the mortality of Blattella germanica cockroaches. Among the five journals, the most effective lowest concentrations used for bioinsecticides against Blattella germanica were EO Geranium 0.02983 mg/L, EO Bergamot 0.09474 mg/L, NP Geranium 0.01391 mg/L, NP Bergamot 0.05918 mg/L with LC50. The conclusion states that Geranium maculatum and Bergamot with LC50 are the most effective bioinsecticides in killing Blattella germanica cockroaches. Suggestions for further research include the need for additional studies to increase the concentration of the extract solution to a lethal concentration of 90 using more practical and easily applicable methods in the control of German cockroaches (Blattella germanica).
