Pengaruh Game Online Terhadap Prestasi Dan Hasil Belajar Pada Siswa Di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Game online dapat diartikan sebagai program permainan yang tersambung melalui jaringan internet yang dapat dimainkan kapan saja, dimana saja, game onine bisa dimainkan bersamaan dan dapat dimainkan oleh siapaun termasuk siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh game online terhadap prestasi dan hasil belajar pada siswa. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kuantitatif dan dianalisa menggunakan Solutions Statistical Product and Service. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak satu kelas yaitu kelas tujuh (VII) di SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa frekuensi intensitas bermain game online oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga cenderung rendah yaitu sebanyak 16 responden dan frekuensi dampak bermain game online sebanyak 12 responden serta analisa hasil belajar tergolong rendah, yakni sebanyak 17 responden. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner dan hasil nilai raport, disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak memiliki ketergantungan pada game online .
