Analisis Kesulitan Membaca pada Siswa Kelas V dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk kesulitan membaca yang dialami oleh siswa kelas V UPT SDN 75 Bentang dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebabnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 25 siswa kelas V yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes membaca, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan membaca siswa mencakup tiga aspek utama, yaitu kelancaran membaca, pengenalan kata, dan pemahaman isi bacaan. Sebagian besar siswa masih membaca dengan cara mengeja, melakukan kesalahan dalam pengucapan kata, serta mengalami kesulitan memahami gagasan utama teks. Faktor penyebab utama meliputi rendahnya motivasi membaca, keterbatasan dukungan literasi keluarga, dan kurangnya variasi metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Kesulitan membaca juga berdampak pada rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa serta hasil belajar di berbagai mata pelajaran. Pembahasan memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran interaktif seperti SAS dan PQ4R dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan membaca. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesulitan membaca merupakan permasalahan multidimensional yang memerlukan kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan keluarga dalam menciptakan ekosistem literasi yang kondusif. Diperlukan inovasi strategi pembelajaran membaca yang menyenangkan dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi secara berkelanjutan.
