Pelaksanaan Program Pembelajaran Calistung Dalam Meningkatkan Kesiapan Belajar Siswa Kelas Awal

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program pembelajaran calistung (membaca, menulis, dan berhitung) dalam meningkatkan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas awal. Pengabdianini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain one group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 15 siswa kelas awal di SDN 75 Bentang, Kecamatan Galesong, Kabupaten Takalar, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Program pembelajaran calistung dilaksanakan selama lima hari melalui kegiatan membaca permulaan, latihan menulis bertahap, dan pembelajaran berhitung menggunakan benda konkret. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan pembelajaran calistung. Hasil pengabdianmenunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesiapan belajar siswa pada seluruh aspek yang diamati. Sebelum perlakuan, sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan kesiapan belajar yang rendah, ditandai dengan keterbatasan dalam mengenal huruf, menulis, dan berhitung. Setelah pelaksanaan program, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan membaca suku kata sederhana, keterampilan menulis yang lebih rapi, serta kemampuan mengenal dan menggunakan angka dengan benar. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan sikapbelajar yang lebih positif dan rasa percaya diri yang meningkat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan program pembelajaran calistung secara terstruktur, bertahap, dan menyenangkan berpengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas awal.
