Abstract

Study aims to examine the implementation of the Indonesia Pintar Card (KIP) Programme and the Merdeka Curriculum in supporting the realisation of quality education based on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 at SMPN 7 Mataram. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, analysing various scientific articles, national journals, and relevant literature published between 2020 and 2025. The research stages included the identification, selection, evaluation and synthesis of literature relating to the implementation of the KIP Programme, the Merdeka Curriculum and the achievement of SDG 4. The findings indicate that the KIP Programme plays a role in expanding access to and equity in education through the provision of educational assistance to pupils from low-income families. The Merdeka Curriculum contributes to improving the quality of learning through the application of flexible, learner-centred learning, as well as the strengthening of the Pancasila Learner Profile. The integration of these two programmes supports the achievement of SDG 4 through the strengthening of inclusive education, the improvement of learning quality, and the development of 21st-century skills. However, its implementation still faces various challenges, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, the readiness of educators, and the optimisation of educational programme governance.
