Realisme Magis dalam Novel Sang Nyai 3 Karya Budi Sardjono

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplanasi Novel Sang Nyai 3 dalam perspektif realisme magis. Paradigma penelitian adalah kualitatif. Data penelitian adalah teks wacana Novel Sang Nyai 3 yang mengandung unsur realisme magis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa narasi realisme magis dalam Novel Sang Nyai 3 mengisahkan kehidupan sosial Jawa dengan berbagai fenomena transendental magis. Unsur magis dalam novel terbagi dalam tiga, yaitu 1) karakteristik elemen tak tereduksi; 2) dunia fenomenal; 3) dirupsi waktu, ruang, dan identitas. Novel Sang Nyai 3 terpengaruh kulkur Jawa dan literatur klasik. Implikasi penelitian adalah bahwa sastra merupakan salah satu media untuk pelestarian mitos dari kultur tertentu.
