About the Journal

BANTARA JOURNAL OF ANIMAL SCIENCE (BJAS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access journal covering various aspects of animal science. BJAS has been published since 2019 by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara, Indonesia (P-ISSN: 2656-9701; E-ISSN: 2657-1587). The journal publishes two issues annually (April and October) and applies a continuous publication model, whereby accepted articles are published online immediately within the current open issue until the next issue is released.

BJAS has been accredited as a scientific journal by the Ministry of Research-Technology and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia: 164/E/KPT/2023 PERIOD : 2023-2028. 

BJAS has been indexed in SINTA, Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), Google Scholar, Crossref.
