Community Development: Inisiasi "Ayah Asi" dalam Upaya Share Role Pencegahan Stunting

ABSTRAK
Pemberian ASI Eksklusif merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menurunkan resiko stunting pada anak-anak. Fenomena “father less” semakin marak di Indonesia sebagai akibat dari hilangnya peran ayah dalam pengasuhan dan tumbuh kembang anak. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan mitra berjumlah 25 orang bapak-bapak dari RT 07 RW 03 Jombor, Bendosari, Sukoharjo yang memiliki bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Bapak-bapak ini dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu (purposive sampling). Sosialisasi tentang pentingnya ASI Eksklusif dan konsep “Ayah ASI” dilakukan pada 15 Juli 2024. Selanjutnya, pemantauan praktik dilakukan melalui grup whatsapp bapak bapak mulai tanggal 16-30 Juli 2024. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam 4 tahap; persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring & evaluasi, pelaporan & luaran kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan terjadi kenaikan sebesar 3,08. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ayah tentang pemberian ASI dan peran Ayah ASI. Mitra menunjukkan antusias yang tinggi yang terbukti dengan tingginya minat mempraktikkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh. Saran/ rekomendasi kepada Kader, Puskesmas dan pihak terkait agar dapat memperbanyak sosialisasi terkait peran ayah dalam pemberian ASI dengan sasaran ayah.

ABSTRACT
Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the factors that can reduce the risk of stunting in children. The phenomenon of "father less" is increasingly widespread in Indonesia as a result of the loss of the role of fathers in the care and development of children. The service was carried out with partners totaling 25 men from RT 07 RW 03 Jombor, Bendosari, Sukoharjo who had babies aged 0-6 months. These gentlemen were selected based on certain considerations (purposive sampling). Socialization about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and the concept of "ASI father" was carried out on July 15 2024. Furthermore, practice monitoring was carried out through the father's WhatsApp group from July 16-30 2024. Activities were carried out in 4 stages; preparation, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, reporting & output of activities. The results show an increase of 3.08. This increase shows that there is an increase in fathers' knowledge about breastfeeding and the role of breastfeeding fathers. Partners show high enthusiasm as evidenced by their high interest in practicing the knowledge they have gained. Suggestions/recommendations to Cadres, Community Health Centers and related parties to increase outreach regarding the role of fathers in breastfeeding with the target of fathers.
