Authors Guidelines
General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal or conference.

The manuscript should report community service or empowerment activities relevant to the journal’s focus areas, including:

Human development and national competitiveness
-
Poverty alleviation based on local resources
-
Rural and coastal area management with local wisdom
-
Economic development, entrepreneurship, cooperatives, creative industries, and MSMEs
-
Environmentally conscious and appropriate technology development
-
Education and literacy
-
Public health, nutrition, tropical diseases, herbal medicine
-
Arts, culture, literature, national integration, and social harmony
-

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a signed originality statement confirming that the work is the authors’ own and free from plagiarism.

Each corresponding author (regardless of the number of co-authors) is entitled to one printed copy of the journal issue in which the article appears.
Manuscript Structure and Format
-
Manuscripts should be 8–12 pages in length, typed in Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing, on A4 paper size, and written in good Indonesian or English.

The manuscript structure must include:
Title, Author(s) Name, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
Detailed Writing Guidelines
Title
-
Consists of <15 words.
-
Written in sentence case, concise, informative, and reflective of the activity's content.
Author Identity
-
Authors' names are written without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliation and email address of the corresponding author.
Abstract
-
Written in Indonesian and English, 150–250 words each.
-
Must include: objective of the program, methods applied, and major results or outcomes of the community service activity.
Keywords
-
Written in Indonesian and English, 3–5 keywords each.
-
Arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons.
Introduction
-
Describes the background, context, or social issues that inspired the community service activity.
-
States the aims and significance of the program.
Methods
-
Explains the approach, model, and steps used to address the identified problem.
-
Methods may include but are not limited to:
-
Community Education (e.g., awareness-raising, counseling)
-
Technology Transfer / Diffusion of Science and Technology
-
Training (with demonstrations or prototypes)
-
Mediation (serving as facilitator between groups)
-
Advocacy (assisting target groups through accompaniment or support)
-

Describe the characteristics of target beneficiaries/partners involved in the program.
Results and Discussion
-
Presents outputs, outcomes, or improvements resulting from the community service program, such as increased knowledge, skills, or tangible products.
-
For physical products, include specifications, strengths, and limitations.

Enrich results with photos, tables, graphs, diagrams, or figures as needed.

Discussion should:

Follow the order of objectives,

Provide logical reasoning,
-
Connect findings with theoretical concepts, similar programs, or research evidence.

Conclusion
-
Presented clearly and concisely, summarizing major results and implications.

Provide recommendations for future community service activities.

Written according to the APA 5th Edition style.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference manager software (e.g., EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
