Kesiapan Perguruan Tinggi dalam Menghadapi Revolusi Industri 4.0

Perubahan, bagaimana pun adalah suatu keniscayaan dan tidak pernah ada sesuatu di dunia ini yang tidak berubah. Tinggal, bagaimana orang, siap atau tidak, dalam menerima perubahan. Bagi mereka yang tidak siap menerima perubahan, tentu akan tertinggal di belakang atau menghindari perubahan dengan meninggalkan panggung pergaulan kehidupan. Perguruan tinggi adalah suatu sosok kehidupan yang siap untuk menerima perubahan tersebut. Khalayak pun sangat memahami dan menyadarinya. Itulah sebabnya, Revolusi Industri 4.0 meskipun baru, tentu perguruan tinggi siap untuk menerimanya. Namun jika dicermati, ternyata, kesiapan menerima Revolusi Industri 4.0 adalah sesuatu yang tidak ada kaitan langsung dengan perguruan tinggi dimaksud. Ia seperti lembaga yang lain, tentu dengan senang hati menerimanya, termasuk dalam pikiran-pikiran perguruan tinggi. Namun, jika sesuatu perubahan berkaitan langsung dengan dirinya, persoalannya, menjadi tidak mudah, apalagi jika sampai memasukkan dalam pikiran-pikirannya.
