Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Melalui Team Games Tournament

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui penerapan metode Cooperatif Learning tipe team games tournament (TGT). Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V yang terdiri dari 12 siswa perempuan dan 8 siswa laki-laki. Analisis data berupa data kuantitatif menggunakan analisis data persentase dan rata-rata nilai tes evaluasi. Instrument untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi serta lembar evaluasi yang dilakukan pada setiap akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar Matematika pada akhir siklus II. Pada pra-siklus, terdapat 11 siswa (73%) yang mendapat nilai di bawah KKM dan 4 siswa (27%) mendapat nilai di atas KKM. Rata-rata hasil belajar adalah 51,18. Setelah dilakukan tindakan melalui dua siklus, ketuntasan siswa meningkat sebanyak 13 siswa (86%) telah mencapai KKM sedangkan siswa yang nilainya dibawah KKM menjadi 2 siswa atau hanya 14%, sedangkan nilai rata-rata juga meningkat menjadi 88,18. Dari hasil tes evaluasi siklus II diketahui bahwa indikator kinerja penelitian telah tercapai dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Cooperatif Learning tipe team games tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika.
