Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

This research aims to determine the role of microteaching in improving prospective educators' abilities in teaching. This research uses a qualitative approach in the nature of a literature study. The data in this research was collected by searching for data or information related to the research through searching the internet by accessing (Google Scholar). Based on the analysis of the results, it can be concluded that microteaching learning practices are very important to provide to students as prospective educators. One of the roles of microteaching is to shape students as future educators so they are able to guide and teach classes systematically. Apart from that, all students are able to master basic teaching skills as preparation for teaching at school. Managing and leading a class is not easy, so practice and the right methods are needed. Therefore, this microteaching course is very important for students who after graduating will continue their careers to become educators or teachers.
