PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION (AIR)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia melalui model
pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) pada siswa kelas IX E SMP Negeri 1
Tawangsari semester I tahun pelajaran 2017/ 2018. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas
yang dilakukan di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Tawangsari semester I tahun pelajaran 2016/ 2017
yang berjumah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan
dokumentasi. Tahap-tahap analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi
data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Indikator keberhasilan adalah nilai rata-rata tes
siswa sekurang-kurangnya 80,0 dan banyak siswa dengan nilai di atas kriteria ketuntasan minimal
(KKM) yaitu 80,0 mencapai ? 85%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat
disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dapat
meningkatkan prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia pada siswa Kelas IX E semester I SMP Negeri 1
Tawangsari tahun pelajaran 2017/ 2018. Hal ini dapat ditunjukan dengan meningkatnya nilai
keterampilan menulis bahasa Indonesia siswa dari 71,03 meningkat menjadi 80,56 ? 80,00 dan
persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 46,88% meningkat menjadi 87,5% ? 85%.
