PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO NARASI ANIMASI PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG UNTUK SISWA KELAS IV SD MUHAMMADIYAH PAJANGAN 2

Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini adalah kurang tertariknya siswa terhadap mata pelajaran matematika bangun ruang pada kelas IV SD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan, mengetahui kualitas dan efektifitas video narasi animasi bangun ruang sebagai upaya pendukung proses pembelajaran untuk siswa kelas IV SD.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan di penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) atau lebih dikenal dengan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 4-D, Model pengembangan 4-D terdiri atas 4 tahap utama yaitu: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Metode dan model ini dipilih karena bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media video animasi. Uji coba prosuk dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah Pajangan 2 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 21. Teknik analisis data dari penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil penilaian para ahli, pendidik dan siswa. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dalam penelitian ini berupa saran dan kritik dari para ahli, pendidik dan siswa.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti didapatkan hasil 81,9 maka hasil uji coba kepada siswa kelas IV masuk kategori “Baik Sekali”. Dengan hasil 88,33 maka hasil uji coba dari para ahli dan guru kelas masuk kategori “Baik Sekali”. Maka video pembelajaran layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
