PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI STRATEGI PICTURE INDEX CARD MATCH PADA SISWA SMP NEGERI 2 SUKOHARJO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia melalui strategi Picture Index Card Match pada siswa kelas IX SMP N 2 Sukoharjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan 4 tahapan pada masing-masing siklus yang meliputi: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan strategi Picture Index Card Match dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX SMP N 2 Sukoharjo. Data terlihat adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, dari lembar observasi siklus I sebesar 53,48% dan angket siklus 1 80,23%, sedangkan lembar observasi siklus II sebesar 65,63% dan angket siklus II sebesar 83,87%.
