PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA DENGAN DISCOVERY LEARNING MELALUI AUDIO VISUAL

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa muatan pelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning melalui media Audio Visual pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Karangasem tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Karangasem Kecamatan Cawas Kabupaten Klaten Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021, yang terdiri dari 4 laki-laki dan 8 perempuan. Subjek pelaksana tindakan adalah peneliti dan guru kelas sebagai observer. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan aktivitas siswa dengan kategori minimal baik siklus I mencapai 41,66% dan siklus II 83,33%. Sedangkan hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa siklus I mencapai 50%, dan siklus II 91,66%. Dengan demikian dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning melalui Audio Visual dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar muatan pelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Karangasem Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021.
