Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Dan Problem Solving Terhadap Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas V Pada Pembelajaran PPKn

Berdasarkan pengamatan ditemukan pemasalahan tingkat berpikir kritis siswa yang rendah pada pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah adanya pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa kelas V dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih tinggi dari model pembelajaran problem solving pada pembelajaran PPKn. Jenis Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu eksperimen semu (quasi experiment design) dan desain penelitian adalah Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design. Variabel X (bebas) pada penelitian ini adalah model Problem Based Learning (X1) dan Problem Solving (X2) sedangkan untuk varibel Y yaitu Berpikir Kritis. Pada populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak dari 50 siswa di SD Gugus Andong, Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes berupa soal uraian dan rubrik penilaian untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis, lembar observasi digunakan kepada guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji T independent Sampel T test pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh sebesar nilai sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang artinya lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara penggunaan model problem based learning dan model pembelajaran problem Solving untuk mengetahui meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa kelas V.
